Dale G. Siler


Dale Siler advises clients in the areas of business law, estate planning, tax law, civil and commercial litigation and real estate. He has practiced law for more than 35 years. Dale is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in Utah and California, as well as before the United State Tax Court in Washington, D.C. He has served as the President of the Cache County Bar Association, and as a member of the American Bar Association and Utah State Bar Sections on Tax and Business Law.

In addition to working with small business clients and personal estate planning, Dale has successfully represented clients in multi-million dollar business and real estate transactions as well as representing individuals throughout the western United States. Dale has been a frequent lecturer for various universities and professional associations, where he has taught and presented materials on tax, business law, real estate and estate planning matters. For more than 30 years, Dale taught graduate tax and advanced business law courses at Utah State University, where he was recently recognized the Teacher of the Year by the USU School of Accountancy. He was also recently recognized by the Cache Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business Champion of the Year. Dale is actively involved in community service programs and has served in board and other leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America, the Utah Festival Opera Company, Boys and Girls Club of Cache Valley, and Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife.

Dale received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in 1971, his master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Utah State University in 1972 and then participated in a joint Masters in Taxation and Juris Doctorate program at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, graduating in 1975. Dale was originally admitted to practice law in California in 1975, where he served as Tax Counsel for the Bank of America at its world headquarters in San Francisco.
