Gary N. Anderson, Shareholder
Gary advises clients in the areas of business law, estate planning, probate and estate administration, employment law, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and civil and commercial litigation. He has over 30 years of experience in litigating and mediating business and probate disputes. Gary has been willing to share his expertise as an attorney in many civil capacities, including appointments to the Logan City Power Board and the Salt Palace/Fine Arts Advisory Board.
He was a founding member of the Capital Arts Alliance and Utah Festival; Opera Company and was instrumental in the renovation of the Ellen Eccles Theatre. He is a member of Utah State University’s Old Main Society. Gary also served on the Utah State Board of History, is currently serving on the Board of the American West Heritage Foundation and served on the Cache Valley Regional Council.
Gary received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in 1971 and he received his law degree from the University of Utah in 1974, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Blue Key. He was admitted to practice law in Utah in 1974; in the U.S. District Court, District of Utah, in 1977; and in the U.S. Tax Court in 1981. Gary is a member of the Cache County Bar Association and the Utah State Bar. Gary also learned to speak Russian while serving as a mission president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Petersburg, Russia.
